To Exercise Or Not To Exercise…

That was the question of the day.  I had pretty much sabotaged myself from the time I rolled out of bed this morning.  It’s Friday!  Who wants to wear yourself out and be sweaty and smelly on a Friday?  Not me…
Or so I thought!  I was very easily convinced to be that sweaty smelly person when I got the phone call early this morning, “Let’s talk while we walk.”  762 miles between us and we still found a way to go for a walk together.
So what did I really get out of today’s exercise?  I feel better…I’m still on track…but most of all I learned that with the help of my best friend and weight loss buddy I can do this!  Through motivating eachother, I really will be 38-43 # lighter.
My motivation to you…put on those walking shoes and get moving!  Take it from me, you’ll feel better when you’re done.

Surprise, Surprise

Yesterday started and ended with a killer sinus headache.  Needless to say, exercise was not in the equation.  I started off the day trying to stay on my meal plan, but that dwindled as the day progressed.  I was starting to feel guilty.  Thanks to Sandy, I realized that the day could have been much worse than it really was.  She reminded me of the days when I would have eaten twice as much (with no thought of exercise at all) and guilt was not a consideration.  Sandy pulled me through.  I could not do this without her!

And to top things off…the scale was waiting with a surprise for me this morning.  I really expected a change.  But yea…another # had peeled away!  This has renewed my hope that I can really do this!
